OneRepublic is a North American band based in Colorado Springs, more precisely in Denver. Formed by 5 members: Ryan Tedder (Vocalist); Brent Kutzle (Bassist / Cellist); Drew Brown (Guitar); Zach Filkins (Guitar / guitar); Eddie Fisher (Drums); And recently with an 'unofficial' Brian Willett (Keyboards) member. Originally formed in 2002 by Ryan and Zach as only "Republican" and reformed in 2007 with the entrance of Brent Kutzle after the exit of the old bassist who decided to follow solo career. The band achieved commercial success on MySpace as an independent band. In the fall of 2003, after doing concerts throughout the Los Angeles area, some labels already started to get in touch with some interest, they ended up signing with Columbia Records' Velvet Hammer. His first album was made with producer Greg Wells during the summer and fall of 2005 at his Rocket Carousel studio in Culver City, California. Originally scheduled to be released on 6/6/2006, they were abandoned by Columbia two months before the album was released. In 2007, after signing with Interscope Records, the album "Dreaming Out Loud" was released with the debut single "Apologize" remixed by Timbaland, becoming a major international hit, reaching # 1 on the charts in sixteen different countries! And subsequently winning a nomination at the Grammy Awards. The album was later awarded the Platinum certificate by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA). The band's second album titled "Waking Up" released in 2009, produced hits such as "All The Right Moves", "Secrets", "Marchin On" and "Good Life" topping the Billboard Hot 100. The third album of the band "Native" released in 2013, was in the TOP 10 of Billborad 200, and reached the highest places in the charts of the period, being in 4th place. The first single released "Feel Again" used for a campaign of Save The Children, used heart beatings of healthy children treated by the program. The second single, considered the first official single of the CD to be released was If I Lose Myself, being later remixed by DJ Alesso, gaining a nomination to the Grammy later. "Counting Stars" has become the band's most successful single in the last 2 years, ranking TOP 5 in Australia, Canada, Germany, Ireland, New Zealand, USA and UK, marking its biggest single in Charts UK also reaching # 2 on the Billboard HOT 100, breaking the "Apologize" brand in 2007.
